Areas such as Sedona are found throughout the world. What seems to make Sedona unique is its proximity to a major city, the ability to stay or live in it, and the easily accessible sacred sites which can be utilized for hours. You can think about other areas with similar power and one will realize that these characteristics are not common. My sense is that a divine architect knew millions of years ago in the evolution of the area, how it would come to be used.

As the visitor enters these energy fields, varied responses begin to occur. The flowing energy goes through the body, either in an upward or downward flow. We begin to sense parts of our physical body react, possibly to a realigning of our chakras, meridian system, parasympathetic system or even cellular alignment. Now, depending on our needs, we begin to feel an external influence, possibly ethereal, entering and altering conditions that have been in missbalance or blocked in some way. You don’t quite know how it is changing, but change is occurring. When this state is reached, we should allow the natural flow to continue without analyzing its presence away from ourselves. The analysis can take place later, in the processing stage. What is paramount for the benefits to be received will be an acceptance and surrender to what one see’s within, and what we allow to be released.

The period taking place after one’s vortex experience is almost as significant as the actual event. Due mainly to the need both mentally and emotionally to process the changes we underwent. The effects upon our physical body as well, require rest and stillness to a degree. You have made a connection with parts of yourself the may have been inaccessible for the entire lifetime.
