Camping Tips For the Newbie

Camping is a fantastic way to get closer to the ones you really care about. It is one of those things that I’ve done a lot in my life. And I have learned a few things to make it a better experience.

Here are my own camping tips for having the best possible time.

1. Remember the Bug Spray

Bug spray is very important. You ever notice how man flies and mosquitoes there are in the middle of a campground? Well I don’t know about you, but Mosquitoes love to attack me. So If I don’t bring bug spray then I am going to wind up with a million bug bites.

Bug spray is a must for any camping trip.

2. Bring something to Do

Bring something to actually do on your vacation. I like to bring a deck of cards with me so that we call all play Gin Rummy, or another card game. Uno is also a very good family game, so if you have a deck bring it, it will make a world of difference.

You might want to go out and buy a ghost stories book so you have some scary stories to tell in the middle of the night.

3. Take a camera

Remember to bring a camera with you. That way you will be able to take pictures and look back at the trip. If you don’t take your camera with you, you will end up regretting it in 5 years, that is just how it works.
